cramping while pumping?

I know that it is common the first days postpartum to have some cramping/contractions when you nurse but does anyone have cramps/contractions when they pump? I don't notice anything when DD nurses but whenever I pump I have cramping. At first I thought it was my period but that has yet to happen. And the fact that DD is almost 10 weeks old makes it even more bizarre. I never had anything like this with DS so I am clueless on this one. Thoughts, suggestions?

    When I was in the hospital and pumping I had a lot of cramping.  The nurses said that it was my uterus contracting.

    It def can be from your utuerus contracting I do know with 2nd and 3rd children it is worse than with your first. If your very concerned I would call your Dr.
