Well-the ultrasound this morning didn't go well-there was nothing there and they should have been able to see a sac or something. They took more blood to see if the level will decrease on it's own. If not they may give me methotrexate again just in case it's eptopic. I am 99% sure it's over-but has anyone heard of not seeing anything at 5w5days and having it turn around?

TTC since 5/2010
DX with Diminished Ovarian Reserve - AMH of 1.1 - 7/2011; AMH of .42 8/2012BFP 9/1/10-M/C confirmed 9/8/10-Methotrexate 10/6/10
IUI #1 (w/clomid)-9/5/11-BFN ; IUI #2 (w/clomid)-10/5/11 - BFP - 11/1/12-No sac seen; 11/2/11 and 11/9/11-Methotrexate 
IVF #1- ER 2/2; ET 2/5;-Two 8 cell embryos transfered = BFFN
Surprise BFP - 5/7/12
U/S on 6/8/12 - H/B at 128 BPM; U/S on 6/14/12 @ 9wks-No H/B-D&C on 6/17/12
IVF 2.0- ER 10/17; ET 10/20-One 12 cell, one 10 cell and one 8 cell embryo transfered
BFP!   11/16/12 U/S- Two nuggets with perfect heartbeats! EDD 7/10/13

    I think if it were me, I wouldn't count myself out just yet.   I'd see what your numbers do and then ask for another ultrasound before you do methotrexate or anything else.  

    What if you implanted a little late or something?   I'm not sure exactly when the sac shows up but even if you are off a few days, maybe that could be the difference.  KWIM?

    I'm sorry you are going through this!  I had an u/s at 5w2d and they saw nothing.  I was completely heartbroken.   After a grueling 10 days, I went back in and everything was on track.  T&Ps to you!!

    I'm so sorry. Lots of T&Ps for you. Is it possible that it's just earlier than they think?

    At 5w5d, I'm not sure I would give up yet. That's pretty early. Sending good vibes your way!

    I would ask for another u/s in a week just to be sure.  No sense rushing to meds.  Give your body a chance to sort it out on its own.  Someone just posted about m/c being misdiagnosed bc of errors or misjudgements made during early u/s.  Give it a week and insist on another u/s to see if anything has developed.  GL

    I'm not a doctor but I agree with all this. I didn't get my bfp until after five weeks and I got an u/s when I was over 2k betas. I hope you get to stay here. I think there was someone who something similar happened to but my brain can't remember who. Good luck honey. *hugs*

    Sh!t. I'm so sorry. I was really hoping that you'd get better news. Before doing the metho., get the b/w results or another u/s just to calm the 1% so that you don't have the "what if" feeling afterwards.

    I wouldn't take anything right away until another u/s is done in a few days or so and more blood is taken to see what your counts are doing.  It will be really difficult to wait...  but it is better to be safe than sorry.  I am sorry you are going through this.  Keep us updated!  <3
