Really?

I can't belive the way people act on here. I posted something and you didn't have to be rude about it. I mean would you want someone to talk to you like you talked to me ? All I have to say is what goes around comes around and one day your going to be excited and people on here are going to talk to you like your trash like you did me tonight. I did not relize that my name was on the picture or I would have blocked it out. I wasnt even sure how to post a picture in the first place. Second off not all ultrasound tec are that great at what they do. The lady that does mine has had lot of unhappy mommy's. I try to be really nice but you can't post anything on her without a _____***** person being not so nice. I am starting to hate this website. This is for us woman to talk and comfort each other in what we do know. But it turns out that it is a page for woman to put others down because they are having a bad night. Angry

    I feel ya.  I'm new here and already someone has been pretty rude to me.  I chose not to get angry though, I think sometimes people on the internet are looking for drama and if you let them upset you, then they got just what they wanted.  I'm sorry some people were rude to you.

    Some people love drama and they love making fun of others and being judgemental because it makes them feel better about their own shortcomings. It is by no means a reflection on you and you are certainly not the first person who has forgot to block out personal info online. Don't sweat it, in the long run the situation and those people mean very little.

    I'm sorry you had such a bad experience.  I agree with a PP - it's best not to put too much mental energy into it.  I make no excuses for anyone else's behavior -  common courtesy is still possible amid the hormonal stress and strife.  I wish you all the best.

    I think people take this website a little too seriously..big deal your name was on the u/s..no need for people to get snotty about it!  These people find it easier to be nasty because they can hide behind a computer..don't worry about them try not to let these website people bother you, they don't even know you :)

    I have had people be unkind to me in this forum, too. It feels terrible. But....try not to take it to heart.

    Don't worry. I think some people are just nasty B******... They don't take the time to help others on here yet they just want to bash people. 

    I don't know what their problem is. Don't stress them at all, and if you need to talk go ahead girl do your thing. Don't worry and if u need something let me know :)

    OP- I agree that sometimes people can be really rude/mean/unnecessary on here. I didn't see your original thread so I can't comment on your specific case....

    BUT, you have to remember that this is still the internet.

    #1: Be very careful about posting anything with your last name, where you're delivering, etc.  Anyone can see this website. Anyone.  There are lunatics out there who would literally hurt you/ your family.

    #2: Before you post anything at all, if you don't want negative comments, read your post, and then read it again. Could it be interpreted as rude, wierd, spam, a lie, etc etc? If so, then change it.  If you don't want to change it, then be prepared for whatever reaction you get.  

     See how many posts I have? I have never had anyone be blatantly rude to me, (except for a troll or two, but they just do it for kicks, so it doesn't bother me).... I am pretty careful about how I word things.  I've had people disagree with me, sure, but I've never been attacked or flamed. 

     Again, I didn't read the thread that inspired all this,  but the best way to avoid drama/rude people is to not post things that bring it out in them.

    Are you free to post whatever you want? Of course.  But they are also free to respond however they want.

    TheBump can be a great resource.... but it was NOT created for the purpose you cited.  It was created for advertising dollars, hence all the ads you see when you log on. 

    Remember these things, and you'll have a much better Bump experience.
