Hi Ladies.  It looks like my m/c bleeding finally stopped so I thought this was a good time to join the board.

We were TTC for just over a year when we got our BFP.  We'd been through all the testing and were about to start Clomid when I got my bfp, EDD 5/13/12.  I spotted the entire pregnancy.  At about 6 weeks u/s showed a yolk sac and fetal pole but no heartbeat.  It never progressed from there.  We waited a few weeks and finally took the cytotec (which was physically a terrible experience for me) but it worked.  My RE confirmed the pregnancy was gone on Wed. and I stopped bleeding yesterday.

I was feeling fine until Friday when two of my good friends announced their BFPs.  One would have been due the week before me, the other, 2 weeks after me.  I already had a third friend due a month before me.  It would have been so perfect to have 3 good friends with kids the same age.  DH said it was like a cruel joke. 

We are TTA for one cycle then we're starting Clomid.  Looking forward to getting to know you all!

    I am sorry for your loss.  As for the friends around you getting pg...I hear ya!  I had a friend give birth 2 weeks after my m/c, another friend is due at the end of this month, I found out after I told some friends about my m/c that a friend is due 2 weeks after I would have been...another friend I found out is due a month after I was.  And then there are the ppl i know but not really friends same thing one due a month before I was, another due weeks after I would have been....boo. 

    Its def hard, but it helps to keep thinking positive.  Hope everything works out for you and GL!

    I'm so sorry for your loss :( I know it is so hard when others start to announce their pregnancies....your husband said it best, it's like a cruel joke how they start rolling in after a loss. Big hugs to you and I hope your time TTCAL is short and sweet.

    Hi, there. I am sorry sorry to hear about your loss. I am sorry to have to welcome you to this board, but welcome!  It's a great place and the women are all extremely kind. 

    I also tried for just over a year and had an early loss.  Part of the horror was the thought of it taking another year to get back.  I hope clomid helps get you there much faster.  As for the BFPs explosion, I totally sympathize.  Two friends in one day is really rough.  

    Exactly!  I just keep trying to remind myself it is a good thing we were able to get KU in the first place.

    I'm very sorry for your loss, welcome to the board. I am a newbie to this board -- our loss is still pretty fresh so my heart really goes out to you.

    I'm so sorry for your loss.  I had a similar experience with spotting throughout my pregnancy and ended up with only a yolk sak.  Nothing progressed past that. This board has been awesome for me in the short time I've been here so far, hope it is for you too.

    Hugs to you, Whoberry. It's good to see you again...so sorry that we both ended up here. I've also got good friends due right around my EDD and it is so hard. I'm glad that you're on the other side of the physical loss and am sending lots of T&P that you get your sticky baby BFP SOON!
