Lifting Snap n Go/ Stroller?

This upcoming week (I'll be about 3 wks pp) I have to take my older DDs to their Mother's Day Out and pick them up as well. In turn, I'll probably have to then lift DS with his infant carrier and then get the Snap n Go stroller out of the trunk.

Is this doable at 3 wks pp or should I try to come up with a different plan?

Any experiences with this welcomed! TIA

Re: Lifting Snap n Go/ Stroller?

  • You should have no problem doing this, I'm doing this at 1 week pp.
  • Loading the player...
  • Just go slow, and you should be fine.

If for some reason it doesn't feel right, can you ask another parent in the parking lot to lift for you?

  • I started doing it myself around 3 wks pp. It was a little tricky b/c I have a high vehicle so I had to lift it quite high and twist a little but I managed. Just be careful.

  • Listen to your body. If it feels like too much, then it is too much. But you should be fine.

  • No personal experience, but I just wanted to add that every time I lift the double SNG out my trunk, I am just thankful that I didn't have to do it right after my c/s!  I hope the singles are a lot lighter.
  • at 2 weeks pp with DS I was able to lift his stroller out of the car (the big travel system one).  I just tried to take it easy.
