We had a costume party last night. My husband was Captain America and I was a tourist! LO spent the night at my mom's for the first time. He did great. My mom was also watching our dog, and she tripped over him with the baby in her arms. The baby is okay, but my mom broke her foot. Of course, she didn't tell us until they brought the baby back today. I'm a little peeved that she didn't mention it, but I understand why and I'm glad that the baby is fine. Anyways, happy Halloween!

Your poor mom! I kinda understand her keeping it a secret since it was your first night out. She didn't want to ruin it. Glad your LO is okay (and hopefully the dog too!).

And I applaud your mom for not wanting to worry you on your first night alone. I feel bad for her though...OUCH!

Wow! Sorry about your mom - And think about it: what would YOU have done if you'd found yourself in that situation? You probably wouldn't have wanted to spoil your child's first night sans LO either...
