I'm not a wine drinker, but we were getting really into craft beers before I got pregnant, and I was looking forward to the fall beers. Sigh. I may only drink one or two a week when I'm drinking a lot, but I'm sad to be missing some of these. I mean, worth it and all, but yeah.

I have a subscription to food & wine magazine so, yeah I'm missing it. They did a feature recently on hard sparkling ciders and I was totally all drooly. The last night my husband took me out to The Melting Pot for a belated b-day dinner and they were doing a wine flight (for like the first time ever) with the meal and I was so disappointed I couldn't partake.

Oh I would love a nice glass of whit wine. I don't normally even like wine but I just want what I can't have... but I do keep telling my husband that I'm having some at Christmas lol just like to get him going

I am missing:

- A nice crisp glass of oaky buttery chardonnay

- An extra dirty vodka martini with blue cheese olives

- A pint of Octoberfest followed by a pint of Fat Tire.

I miss white wine and being able to go to taco mac every thursday for their pint nights. My DH and I use to go every thursday until I got pregnant. Can't wait to go back and try new beers.

I am normally not a drinker but last night we went out for our anniversary and the restaurant we go to gives out glasses of the most delicious sweet red wine I've ever tasted in my life and I couldn't have any

The waitress asked if I didn't drink alcohol and when I told her I was pregnant she brought me a virgin Mojito...so not the same. I want a Yuengling (I've never had it and we just got it in Ohio) and the greasiest cheeseburger with bacon, tomato, onion and lettuce on it when I'm in the hospital after I have our little man!

I miss it! With my first pregnancy I didn't really miss it much but this time I do way more for some reason. Monday nights are my wine night when I'm not pregnant. I don't drink. Not for moral reasons really, I just don't.

But, ironically, the only time that I ever have an urge to drink is when I'm pregnant/nursing a newborn.

I enjoyed my first (very small) glass of wine this weekend to celebrate the end of the first trimester. I savored it for the entire hour of our meal and it was perhaps the most amazing, beautifully dry thing I've ever tasted...

But I still desperately miss Rum!
