I need some inspiration ladies...

My step daughter and I want to make some homemade gifts for Christmas. So far we are looking at sugar/salt scrubs and some other bath type things.  If you have anything you would like to share, I'd love to hear it.  ((hugs))

    Who are these gifts for? are they gen gifts youll hand out to extended fam/friends? gifts youll be handing out to co workers? 

    you could do gift baskets all different kinds- a pasta night one (with wine, pasta, sauce, garlic bread); a cookie basket (either already made cookies, or cookie dough- or stuff for it, a cookie sheet, sprinkles...); a holiday basket (full of different xmas faves, egg nog, cookies, hot cocoa, xmas movies);  a movie night basked (different movies, popcorn, sodas). 

    those would work for gen friends fam.

    Great ideas!!! I am thinking something small for coworkers and friends...Stepdaughter is 14 and is looking to give them to friends....but I like your other ideas too!!

    Last year we bought some large mason jars and made a brownie mix. We were also going to do the same thing, only with different beans and make a chili mix. This year we found some cheap glass spice jars, so we're contemplating making homemade spice rubs.

    We bought some cheap fabric and ribbon and covered the lids to make them pretty.

    I like the spice rub idea...very cool.

    wow! cool! how do people come up with these things!?  I am so not crafty...

    I love making memory/cork boards. Perfect for young girls! All you need is some cork sheets, fabric, glue, ribbon and designs things - I like to use scrapbook items to personalize them.
    Me: 37 DH: 40 TTC since 9/09
    #1 BFP 1/10/11; missed m/c discovered 7w5d
    IF Dx: Endo, hetero MTHFR mutation, poor morphology
    #1 IUI: 1/18/12 = BFN
    #1 IVF/ICSI 4/2/12 = 2 x 7-cell and 1 x 5-cell transferred (3dt) = BFP!!
    H was born at 41w2d on 12/29/12 - be still my heart!
    #2 IVF/ICSI 1/19/14 = 2 x 8 cells transferred (3dt) = BFP!! EDD 10/09/14
    M&W born at 37 weeks on 9/18/14 - I am the momma of 3 boys!!!

    Thanks ladies!!! You have my mind going now!  Today we made sugar scrubs, salt "melts", lip gloss...and some other sort of bath bomb ish thing.  I love all of your ideas...the vodka thing may be great for my friends...that sounds cool.  The cork board sounds great for Kaylee's friends...so many possibilities!
