Husband trouble-vent

Ok, I am 37.5 weeks pregnant, I am huge, I am uncomfortable, I have had horrible pelivic pain since 20 weeks and I am hormonal. I am not complaining but it would be nice if my husband cut me just alitle slack when I have a mood swing. He acts like he is 5 freaking years old!!! I cant stand it. Its just a few more week, really just handle it, its not like I like acting/being this way!

    I can relate, my husband annoyed me tonight and due to my hormones I just started crying. I didn't even really want to talk to him about it.

    I can relate! He can have a temper tantrum whenever he wants, but when  I do...I'm the crazy lady!

    I feel your pain.  I just logged on wondering if anybody else was having this problem.  Looks like I"m not the only one.  This is our second child.  And the closer we get to my due date the more "brand new"  he is acting.  I am getting more and more helpless the bigger I get.... I am not acting like a big baby I am doing pretty much everything without asking for help.  But the minute I show my vulnerabilty he gets irritated - and he is acting mopey and hormonal himself.  I just wish he would cut it out and be strong so I could lean on him.  But then again I guess he is going through something too...  even though I am the one who is physically at a disadvantage.    So for the most part right now we are just staying away from each other because together we are more of a mess.  I hope we come together in labor and delivery... that's my biggest fear I might have to just kick him out if he keeps being so "out of it". 
    Hang in there mommy's.

    I seem to remember reading a posting (I believe it was on the bump) where this lady was 37 weeks; she and her DH were having this fight - where she wanted him to be (as she puts it) more like her - then she went on to say, ?she was pregnant, content, happy, sweet, lovable, helpful, loyal, never argumentative, just the perfect wife with absolutely no faults of her own.?

    She proceeded to ask this question - ?Why couldn?t he be more like that??

     

    One poster came back with this reply: ?Hun, you have to remember ?He?s a MAN? they can?t be that way - it?s not in them!?

    Another poster simply replied - ?You?ve married a ?MAN? not another woman!? So what did you expect ?

    go and get a mani/pedi and ignore him. when my husband gets on my nerves i just take deep breaths and leave the house to get a mani/pedi and my favorite treat...cheese danish from starbucks and tall pumpkin spice latte decaf. YUM!

    DH has had some moments like that.  I usually say, "Honey I'm sorry that this pregnancy is so emotionally and physically tough on YOU.  Is there anything that I can do to make YOU feel better."

    He realizes he's being an ass and tries harder to be more understanding.
