2010 Uppababy Vista question

Hi all,

 I bought a used Upppa Baby Vista and I am having trouble with the sunshade. It has velcro to keep it closed, but what about when I want to roll it back so I can see the baby? I can't figure out how to secure it shut, so that I can look down and see the baby. Is this a normal problem, and is there a way to replace this part?

    Are you talking about the sunshade that tucks out or the piece that looks like a sunroof?  

    Ours has an elastic tag that a knob goes through.  Kind of like a toggle coat.  You roll up the sunroof part and secure it with that.   IS yours missing this?    I'm sorry that I'm not explaining it very well, I tried to find a photo online, but I wasn't successful. 

    Baby Boy Born 3.15.11. 8lb 9oz, 21.75in. 6 month stats: 20lb 11oz (92%tile), 30.12in.(100%tile - who knew it went over 99th? Which means 100% of other 6 month olds are shorter than mine!)
