I've been at the Atlanta airport since 10:30 am to catch a flight to Newark, NJ at 12:26. Due to the snow, my flight has been cancelled. They made us stand in line to see if we could be placed on another flight - the verdict? My flight leaves at 7:30. I go from a window seat to a middle seat. FREAKIN' YAY.
I don't know if you ladies have ever been to the Atlanta airport, but it's huge. So, I've had to go from concourse to concourse, stand in line after line, just for them to tell me I'm still on standby for the other flights.
I'm in so much pain. My feet are swelling, my rib cage feels bruised, my back is shot to hell, I've been sweating, and when I was standing in line after walking from concourse to concourse, I felt like I was going to pass out.
I'm hungry, but scared to eat because my ribs feel so sore and I know eating will make it worse. What's a girl to do?!
I'm done lugging around my laptop bag and camera...I'm so frustrated. I haven't seen my SO in 2 weeks (we live in different states) and even then, I only saw him for a day - imagine how hard it is to say goodbye. So, he has a game tomorrow and we were supposed to have a nice evening together - dinner and a little Q.T., but now I'm flying in at around 9 and his curfew is at 11.
I just want to cry. Seriously.
Vent over...
Re: I hate airports...VENT
I am so sorry!! I would rather fly 6 hours longer to anywhere than connect in Atlanta...got stuck there OVERNIGHT once and I cannot stand the organization of the dang place.
I hope you can get some food in you - you gotta eat! And that you get to spend a little time with your honey! Try to take it easy, Momma!

Thanks, ladies. I am NOT looking forward to that awful snow...
I did get a chance to eat a little, but I feel sooo much better. I paid for a room at Delta's "Minute Suites". LOL, $50 to lay down for an hour an a half. Hopefully everything will go as planned with this 7:30 pm flight!
*fingers crossed*
