Some friends are having a party tonight but costumes are mandatory. I usually love Halloween but I'm just not feeling it this year. I'm trying to get in the mood and be a good sport. However, I have no ideas for costumes. (Procrastinate much?)

Depends on how I feel. I am just going to be handing out candy. I might put on an angel costume I already have. Last time I wore it was in high school and I went as a pregnant angel (fake belly). Now I can be a *real* pregnant angel. lol

Went to a party on Wednesday night. I went as a cat because I already had the ears and tail from a few years ago and I did not want to spend money on a "maternity" costume.

I didn't go so well... I mean, I think I was cute, but people kept making jokes about my "litter". Not cool.

DH was just laid off his job 3 weeks ago, so I feel I can't justify spending any money to buy or make a costume. I haven't had much creative energy lately, but if I think of something SUPER cheap and easy then maybe we'll dress up.

I am going to a party tonight as an egg sunny side up. It only took one yard of white felt and 1/2 yard of yellow and a hot glue gun. And there is a lot of space for me to be comfortable. DH is bacon.

H and I had a party last night and one tonight. I'm not a big fan of Halloween, but a ton of our friends really love it. We skipped it last year, so I'm trying to be better this year. H is going as Harry Potter and I am as Ginny Weasely.

My DD is only 16 months, so I'm not even sure what we're doing for Halloween yet. We will dress her in her costume for church tomorrow (very casual, family-oriented church), and I was thinking of taking her up to the mall to T-or-T tomorrow afternoon, when they scheduled it.

Monday night, we were thinking of just going out to dinner with her in her costume. The idea of hauling my 16 month old around the neighborhood, getting her in and out of the stroller countless times, just doesn't sound that fun to me.

I don't know..... DH just wants to take a road trip... I'd kind of like to go to my friends house (it's her birthday but it's not a party party) I'm iffy on dressing up because I feel fat and ugly :-( I was thinking of being a kitty or a bunny (you know... having at litter) but meh...

We're doing another play on the pregnant theme. DH is dressing up as a baker, and we made an oven for me out of a big box, and cut a hole for the door so when you open it you see the "bun". Kinda cheesy, but it was super cheap and we're not huge halloween fans but its two friends birthday's and they're insisting!

DH and I are going as a shotgun wedding. We were going to go as a redneck couple but he said we might offend some of the locals (small town)... Anyway, I spent $8 on a toy shotgun at the dollar general for him to carry around and he is going to cut off an old flannel shirt and wear a camo hat over a mullet wig. I am cutting off some underbelly maternity jeans into shorts and wearing a too small wife beater and a red bra. I think I will put some tissue in my hair for a veil.

BTW, we are going to a bar party.

DH and I are going as ninjjas. He knows this weird trick to make a ninja mask out of a tshirt and we are just going to wear all black. Easy and free.

I made this...

Yoga pants, a stretchy black shirt and less than $2 in felt. It was a hit at the party we went to last weekend.

I dressed up as a bowling ball. I wore all black, and painted 3 white circles on my bump. I also carried my bowling bag as a purse!
