At what point in the 2ww

in TTC After a Loss

I'm starting to feel really discouraged about this 2ww. Today was my test day according to FF and I still got a BFN after a 10 hour hold and minimal fluid intake. I have always gotten my BFP's by 12DPO so I just have a feeling we are out.

At what point in the 2ww do you get super discouraged? Does getting repeated BFN's really upset you or are you pretty relaxed about it until AF comes?

    For me it is AF that stings more. I am a forever optimist to a fault. I always think, "well there are lots of women who get negatives for weeks" and then  I convince myself it isn't over until AF comes and by comes I mean heavy bleeding for a few days. I have even thought, "well there are lots of people who bleed in early pregnancy"....Embarrassed

    I do not truly get disappointed until AF shows, but like you, I've always gotten my BFPs at 12dpo, so if I test - then, that's when I realize this cycle is over.  

    I just peeked at your chart and while pretty charts =/= BFP, yours is pretty.  If that was an implantation dip @10dpo, it could be possible that you wouldn't tetst + until tomorrow.  Fx for you!

    I agree on the heavy bleeding...if I don't feel like I am seconds away from bleeding to death I still hold out hope. Thanks for the reply!

    Thanks! I thought it might be an implantation dip but I wasn't sure how long after that a test would show +. I guess I will just try to stay optimistic and keep POAS till I get a more definitive answer.

    Your chart looks very promising!!  I don't get too discouraged until AF shows, but watching my temps, I can tell if she's coming.  If your temp goes up tomorrow, I would test again...but I like peeing on sticks! Big Smile

    If it makes you feel any better, when I got pregnant, I had BPN for 10 days. I wasn't charting but was doing OPK so I knew I ovulated kinda late but it wasn't that late! I didn't test positive until a full 2 weeks past AF's due date.

    FX!!!!
