    We go to Holmbergs in Gales Ferry.  Apple picking & pumpkins. Although it is getting towards the end of the season for both I think.  Good luck. =)

     I honestly don't know where Waterford is- I have only lived in CT for 3 years & am still learning where places are. We live in Meriden and go to Lyman's Orchard (in Middlefield). The pumpkin patch is a real one, where the pumpkins are still in the field where they grew. They have a corn maze, pick your own apples, and a store. Very reasonably priced, too.

    Not really a pumpkin patch, but Pumpkintown USA in East Hampton is super cute. They make up a little town and all the citizens have pumpkin heads! Very cute. They also have a hayride now.

    Pumpkin town USA in East Hampton is wonderful for families! It has hayrides, pumpkin patch, a pumpkin people scarecrow town (not scary at all). Definitely a great afternoon
