Hi Everyone!

My DH and I have been TTC for 12 cycles so now I'm off to the OBGYN for a consult.

What should I expect when I go to my OBGYN? I'm going for a consult with my OBGYN.. just referrals to RE? bloodwork? if so, what's the typical tests?

My H did an SA and then I went with an idiot OB who ordered a CD21 blood test. My H has an appointment with the uro and we are going to the RE in December.

I just did this as well, and I didn't really learn any new information..I just got paperwork to take with me to 7-8 dpo bloodwork and a referrel for MH to check his swimmers. I will do the CD 3 bloodwork next cycle since I missed this cycle..good luck to you!

My only piece of advice is to write down questions to ask your Dr. (I googled "questions to ask during first infertility visit" for ideas). When you are at the Dr's, TAKE OUT the paper with the questions and go through it. I wimped out for some reason (I think I didn't want to seem quite as desperate as I felt) and didn't get all my questions answered.

In addition to the blood work mentioned above, my Dr. wants me to start with an HSG test, which will be next week.
