TTC After a Loss
Intro :(
So, we're not TTCAL yet, but we will be soon, I hope.
We went in to hear our baby's heartbeat on Wednesday at 10w3d and there was nothing there. An ultrasound confirmed it was a BO/missed m/c. We are both devastated.
I am waiting a few more days in hopes I will miscarry naturally. If not, I will start Cytotec on Monday. We are both just heartbroken and this wait is the worst...I can barely sleep or eat.
To make this whole ordeal even worse, my husband came down with a violent stomach flu last night. I just want to cuddle him and cry, but I can't touch him because I'm afraid I'll get sick too, and that's the last thing we need right now. And I can't get in our bed because it's all germy--I spent the night the couch last night.
I'm just feeling really lonely right now--he's passed out sick and our families and best friends live far away.
Anyway, we are going to wait one cycle as recommended by the MW and then we'll TTC right away. I'm so ready to put this ordeal behind us and focus a hopefully happier future. I hope it's okay if I stick around.

Brie, I am so sorry. I was just looking for you over on May this morning. Man, this just stinks, I am thinking of and praying for you and your DH.
The women over here are amazing, I hope you find the comfort and friendships as wonderful as I did/do.

Thanks, everyone. DH seems to be feeling much better after a long nap so hopefully this was just a fast bug.
BarooGirl--yeah, I didn't say goodbye to the May board or anything because the m/c posts really freaked me out when I was there and I didn't want to worry other people. Good luck to you!
