Monday I have my first doctor's appt. I should be 6 weeks 1 day. Monday evening we are going to tell our family! I have been dying to tell my mom. We won't see them in person until Thanksgiving but I can't wait until then. I bought a skeleton shirt that has a baby skeleton on the belly and we're going to take a pic of me wearing it and send it to our family. I'm going to wait to tell co-workers and my students until I'm done with the 1st trimester but I'm sooooooooooo ready to be able to talk about this baby with my mom and sisters and best friend!!!!

    That is almost the EXACT same thing we are going. We have our first appt on Tuesday, which should be 7 weeks, but I am still not sure where I am counting from. But I have been dying to tell my mother. We have even had dinner with my parents in the past couple of weeks. I too am waiting until I am showing to tell co-workers and students ( i teach). 

     

    I wish you the best of luck! I think it is going to be SO exciting. I know my husband's mother is going to freak out!!!

    Oh that's awesome! I definitely think it will be interesting to see what my students have to say when the time comes. Lol.

    Lucky you!  I really want to tell our families to be able to share in the excitement, but I really want to be able to tell my son first and I don't want to tell him until I am further along.  I just don't know how long I'll be able to wait! Good luck!
