Baby is is vertex, baby b is transverse. My ob is comfortable doing a breech on B but she will be on maternity leave. Any recs? I'm hoping to do a med free vaginal birth, so I need someone supportive andpatient
I'd suggest asking her for a recommendation. I can ask around. I know lots of OBs who are comfortable with a breech baby B, but none of the ones I know are at Kaiser. Jean Kayser is maybe one, but I've never worked with her so I don't know her demeanor. The only Kaiser OB I know well is not someone I'd call supportive or patient, but then I've only seen this OB in action when there is a problem...
A transverse baby B has a pretty good chance of sliding into a head down position once baby A is out and gravity gives a nudge.

she's at the Vallejo kaiser and doesn't have one, but since we want to deliver at w/c she suggests we check out our options
I asked one of the nurses on the floor today, who said to try Jeffery Maier.
Dr. Maier is fabulous but is a MFM specialist. You need a referral to get to see him. I doubt you'd have a problem getting that referral, but you might start the process now if you're considering it. Not sure whether he'll deliver the way you want, but he's the best of the best over there.
