  • Sometimes it does get you down but you just need to stay positive. After you get through your 12 weeks I believe the percentage drops significantly! Either way I'm sending up T&P for a happy and healthy pregnancy.

  • Roughly 15-20% of pregnancies end in a miscarriage....I always try and think about the fact that about 80% end with the birth of a baby! Once you are out of the first tri the numbers drop dramatically so I am sure you will feel better at 13 weeks. Either way though welcome to mommyhood you are probably going to worry nonstop about your child for the rest of your life!

Ha!  I was going to say this!

I was totally nervous until after my appt this week.  Seeing that heartbeat made all the worries go away.

  • Just try to remember that these boards and the posts are often overwhelmed with the bad stories, because people are sad or scared.  However, there are lots of us who have healthy happy babies with no losses.  Stay strong!!

Thanks for the statistic! It makes me feel a little bit better to think of it like that.

  • you wont stop worrying, but my doctor told me yesterday after a heartbeat is found chances of a miscarriage go from 1 in 4 to 1 in 10. this made me feel a bit better!

  • I personally believe its part of being a mommy- you'll forever worry about your little one.
