Maybe Pregnant ??

Hi ladies I have a question for all of you Yesterday afternoon I took a pregnancy test is said pregnant, well then later in the evening I took another one and it said not pregnant, So I waited again didn't drink any water and took another test first thing in the morning it said pregnant again.

But then I was reading online that clearblue easy gives false positives so, this morning I called up to my doctor and they got me in for a blood test and then they called this afternoon and told me that there wasn't enough blood...

So WWYD if you were me would you just wait till the first appt I have scheduled on the 23rd or would you reschedule a blood test sooner. (Note its 55 miles one way to the doc)

I wouldn't go back to the doctor.

I would wait until tomorrow and take another test. When are you due to get AF? If you're testing early that might be the problem...

I had a false positive (with a digital Clear Blue Easy) last month and got my period (late) on day 32. I would probably just wait several more days and then take a pregnancy test again, with a different brand and do a digital. You'll either get your period by then or you won't and then the test will tell you if you're pregnant.

I wouldnt go back if it was 55miles, I would wait another day or two and test again. GL

The second test probably said not pregnant because you'd just taken one a couple hours beforehand.

I wouldn't waste gas, $, and insurance co-pays for a dr to run pretty much the same test. Go get a couple of Dollar Tree tests, re-test, then call them when it's + again.

Tomorrow morning, test with the cheapest pack of PG tests you can purchase.

They all test for HCG and it's not worth your money to pay for the expensive tests that will tell you the exact same thing as the cheap ones. The reason you're getting the positive in the morning is because it's still early and the concentration levels are such that they're a high enough of a concentration for you to test positive which may not be the case later in the day at this point in the PG. Pee into a disposable cup if you need to to run the test a couple times..

Why don't you just test again with a different brand of tests? First Response Early Result tests are very accurate and can detect a pregnancy very early on. The blue dye tests are crap and are known for false positives.

I know what it is like to live so far away from OB. I am 100 miles one way. I would make another attempt to confirm pregnancy with a blood test. You should ask your doctor if you can get an order for the bHCG and see if there is a lab close to you just to get your blood drawn. Then make your appointment accordingly. That is what I did. The lab sent the results to my doctor and they called me with the BFP!!
