Safe toys for baby to put in mouth?

My LO is 4 months old and is now putting EVERYTHING into her mouth.  I've been able to find BPA-free plastic toys, but I still get nervous with her putting any plastic into her mouth.  Any advice on safe toys that aren't super expensive?  Thanks!

    Plain unpainted wood toys are the way to go if you're worried about ingestion of chemicals. Try Etsy.
