I got pg again when my DDs were 14 months, but by then my scar was a dark pink color. I never made it to "silver" or "invisible" status--I also formed a large keloid scar where my incision was so that might contribute as to why mine stayed "colorful"
Mine is over 3.5 years old, and is finally faded. It's only been faded for the past six months or so. I have really pale skin, I don't know if that makes it more noticeable ...
I have had two csect and the scar is invisible to the point that you can only see it if you look really closely. I dont even notice it in the mirror. Not sure at what point this happened, my dd is 3.5 and ds is 6.
2 yrs PP and mine is still visible, but almost skin colored. It will never be invisible, but DH and I are the only ones who ever see it, so who cares. I've been able to rock a bikini since day 1 lol.
I'm almost 15 months PP and 1/2 is a think pencil line and hard to see and 1/2 is raised and pink. It's not as obnoxious as it was...but it's definitely still visible. I hate it.
Re: How long before your scar was invisible (almost)?
DS2 - Oct 2010 (my VBAC baby!)

Invisible? Pssh. Mine is still dark pink and very noticeable. I am fair-skinned.
I have a friend who says she can 'hardly see' her scar any more at 6m. But she tans like a sonofabitch...maybe that's why.
Almost 9 months out and it is starting to fade. I would just suggest patience on your part.
We have babies born on the same day! Scar is much lighter, but still visible.
