Does anyone use nipple sheilds? I started using them when LO was born because my nipples were being torn apart. Now I am worried that my supply may go down. Also, now she won't nurse without the sheild. Anyone else in this boat?
Are they not latching at all? I read that even if they are on the nipple and not eating, it still stimulates milk production.
I used the shield at first, but was determined to get rid of it. Each feeding I would offer the breast without it to see if LO would latch. It took a few days but eventually he latched because he was really hungry. (ya know one of those days when you are out and about and by the time you get home LO is starving?)

Good Luck!
