Which boots? (clicky poll)
The "Dress the Rssns for family pics" saga continues. I am starting at square 1 with my clothes. I'm thinking maybe a dress with cute boots? Is this appropriate for mid-November pictures?
Which boots do you like best?

What size do you wear? I have a pair of boots VERY similar to #1, size 9 (I believe) that you are welcome to borrow if you don't want to shell out the $ for new boots.
But, I actually voted for #2, because I honestly like them better - a little more rugged/worn looking is just more my style. (which is ironic, because I suppose if I wore my boots more often, they'd be more rugged and worn looking... But anyway...)

This is me, too. I might be a native Texan, but I'm not that big on cowboy/western boots.

I think boot #1 is dressier, so I'd be more likely to wear those with a dress. I really love the boots FCB posted. . .however I am currently wearing a pair similar to her suggestions, so take that opinion from with with a grain of salt!
Last weekend, Loft had several sweater dresses that I bet would look really cute on you. If I were you, I'd look for a navy or wine-colored dress, and then wear brown tights and brown boots. I think a shirt dress would also look cute with boots. (I also saw a couple of those at Loft).

I think they'd look super cute with the blue shirt dress posted above. And I agree with pps. You need a vibrant color! The maternity shots you had with the bright pink top (I think that was you) really POPPED.
Totally. I personally don't care for either boot but I'm not a cowboy boot person. I would rather go with a "nicer" boot (like what FCB posted) so that I could wear it more frequently.
me three. modern tall boots with a sweater dress is what i would do personally.

Burgundy (I'd belt this one for sure)

I love those boots and almost bought them for myself last weekend. I think those would look awesome with a jewel-tone dress, too.

To add: If you want to wear cowboy boots, you totally should. If that's what's in your head, please do. It will be very cute. I was only putting out what *I* would wear.
