your toddler's favorite ipad app?

We're going on a road trip tomorrow to pick up our puppy (10 hours with 2 toddlers, and add a puppy to that on the way home, zomg).  Anyway, I want to find a few fun apps for DS to play with in the car.  What does your kid love?  He already has the PaintSparkles one and Monkey Preschool Lunchbox.

Re: your toddler's favorite ipad app?

  • My DD is quite a bit younger than your DS, but she loves all the Duck Duck Moose apps.
  • Loading the player...
  • ABCs and Me, Old Mac, Read Me Stories and Nick Jr.'s A-Z

  • He loves all the Sandra Boynton book apps, especially Moo Baa La La La.
  • DD has the Sesame Street 1-2-3 books or something.  There's a black puppy involved, and they tell you to search for that on iTunes. (I'm soo helpful.) But at any rate, she loves those because they read the book to her, and then there are coloring pages she can play with.

She just got a new one that's Monkey Math Preschool (same as the lunchbox people), and she's having a lot of fun with it.  She's just a bit older than your DS.

  • duck duck moose suite for sure.

grover's monster at the end of the book

all the disney puzzle story books (they are read but a narrator and every pages has a puzzle) the cars one also has stickers to collect :)

H LOVES traffic rush (there is a cars and trains version in one game)

zoo train (it's got build a train, solve puzzles, spell words etc)

and uhm he's just started playing angry birds.

I'd say netflix, but we use that on my phone not ipad when traveling

  • I just have an iPhone, which she gets addicted to...

Talking Roby--a robot that takes what they say and repeats it in a robot voice. She's into robots right now.

AlphaBooks--little booklets that highlight one letter of the alphabet each. Turn pages like you swipe from one pic to the next--I think that's why she likes it so much?

    Good luck!
