  • How'd it go this week? I'd so overall pretty good.

     

    Weigh in if you decided to do Fridays! I forgot to weigh in this morning! I'm working from home and slept in, so I just kinda rolled outta bed and into my office Sad As of Wednesday, though I was down another 2 pounds, which puts me at 11 pounds total.

    Rate from 1-5:

    Food: 3 ... I ate pizza and bacon, but in both cases, I'd saved calories to do so Wink

    Exercise: 2. I keep adding "Shopping" and "Cleaning" to my exercises, but I swear it's not normal shopping and cleaning. Last night I spend 3 hours walkign around Home Depot, lifting heavy stuff, and by cleaning, I mean remodelling - pulling out tile and cabinets, sanding stuff, moving ovens, etc. I'm working hard, I promise! Alas, it's no 5K, though.

    Motivation: 3. I like seeing those pounds come off, especially when I'm not giving it 100%.

    Any tips or tricks? MyFitnessPal has been a life saver! I would NOT be losing the weight without it. Thank you guys! It's been so accurate in how many calories I can eat, and helping me really gage how many calories I'm taking in and burning off. IMO, it blows WW and SparkPeople out of the water! And having y'all on there is great motivation.

  • This week - pretty good! We drove to VA last night and even packed food to avoid a roadside trip to sonic. :)

     Food: 4. See above packing. We did however indulge in a cocktail or two when we got off the road.

    Exercise: 4. I'm not doing as much weight training as I'd like, but I'm running!

    Motivation: 3.5. It's soooooo hard when I'm out of the house! We went to a diner this morning! I did good and ordered egg whites. DH, not so much. :) 

  • I'm down 3.6 since Monday, which is 1.2 down from last Friday. I want to do well over the weekend so I don't gain everything back over the weekend like I have been doing.

    Food: 3..I ate well until we went to the Buda Halloween thing last night and I had a few pieces of candy.

    Activity: 0..I haven't worked out since Tuesday because DH was OOT on Wednesday night and we went to the Halloween thing last night.

    Motivation: 4..I'm determined to be good over the weekend.

    I'm at 7.2/10
  • How'd it go this week?  I'm back on the wagon as of Wednesday.  Somehow I manage to lose almost 2 lbs in the time I wasn't tracking, but I'll believe it once it sticks around for a few days (or weeks). Overall, I'm at 3.2/5 lbs lost.

     

    Food: 3. The good news that I'm doing really well on keeping my portion sizes down.  The bad news is that I'm eating entirely too many sweets.

    Exercise: 1.  Still haven't done anything, but DH and I both plan on getting in a jog tonight. 

    Motivation:  4. The weight loss and DH's comments that he can tell have given me a second wind.

    Any tips or tricks?  This is a no-brainer but not keeping easy munchy options in the house is absolutely key for me.  DH just got back from England and brought TONS of sweets and naughty goodness back with him, some specifically for me.  NOOOOO!  I've been really good so far, but I may get him to take it to work with him next week.

  • How'd it go this week? food wise, not too bad, but i only got to exercise once.

    Food: 3 - i did pretty good until i had book club last night and are tons of yummy stuff chase by a few glasses of wine. oh and i'm sure date night tonight will only add more delicous calories.

    exercise - 1 - i only got to work out once this week because work is getting busy. i may have to find other options besides lunch to try to get in exercise. but i did commit to running race for the cure today so that's a start.

    movitation: 3 - still plugging along. i'm finally down 2 pounds from when i started a month ago, so it's nice to see some change on the scale.
