Baby Bumps

My L.O. has what I guess is known as baby bumps all over his face! It looks like he went from infant to a teenager with an acne problem. I am told this is normal and will go away on its own. Is this true? I have many friends with kids and I have never heard them mention this nor have I noticed bumps on their kids faces.

    Infant Acne is normal and WILL go away on its own. I have heard some ladies dab breast milk on it to help it along. DD had hers really bad and then one morning, it was gone!

    DS has had this for about a month now. At our 1 month pedi appt she told us we could put a little 1% cortisone on it and it would go away and it's almost gone now.

    DD had it for a few weeks but it went away on its own.  I was told just to wash her face with a warm washcloth a couple times a day to help clear it up.

    Doc recommended Aveeno Baby lotion, because it is due to dry skin.

    Yes, baby acne is quite common. Both of my girls have had it. Wiping your LO's face often with a warm, wet cloth is really all that's needed. It will eventually clear up on it's own.
