I know we discussed costumes for our LO's months ago, but now that Halloween is right around the corner, what is your child going to be this year? If you have a pictures please post.
I was suppossed to borrow a Stitch costume (from Lilo and Stitch) from my sister, but she couldn't find it. We ended up having to get something last minute, so DD will be a witch.
Annabelle was going to be a ladybug, but I decided last minute that she's going to be a Maryland Cheerleader. I posted some pictures on FB this morning.
She's going to be a cat. I was going to make a ladybug costume, but she loves cats so much and loves to "meow" so I got cat ears and tail and will dress her in back, nice and easy. I made a black tutu for some extra cuteness but she doesn't keep it on.

She told me she wanted to be butterfly - so, she's a butterfly again w/ the same costume as last year! But, slightly tighter on her! I just couldn't justify spending another $25 on a costume.
Caelan is going to be a monkey. It seemed fitting given DH's monkey obsession and the fact that we call him monkey. I hope he doesn't pitch a fit when we put him in the costume!

Aidan is going to be Tigger. He is so freak'in adorable in it...I was laughing so hard when we tried it on him a couple of weeks ago. At first he didn't like thehood/head, but he got over it pretty fast. It has a little pudgy belly which makes it even more funny. I got it at Tot Swap back in July for $10...couldn't resist.
Lucinda is also going to be a monkey. DH and I were trying to decide what to get her and we really didn't want to spend $20 on a costume that she would wear once. I was going to pick one up at Wee Cycle (or Greenberries), but SMIL got her one instead. When we put it on DD last time, she cried, but I think that was because she was too warm.
Bailey will be a pumpkin. A friend got us this adorable crocheted pumpkin hat and I went from there, making her costume myself. Hopefully it all looks good together!
A bumble bee. Grammy and DS came home from a shopping trip with it a few weeks ago. He's obsessed with all things soft right now so when we put it on him he ends up rolling around and saying "ahhhhh!!!"
She'll wear the costume tonight at her school's Trunk or Treat (as an aside, is this a new phenomenon? I'd never heard of it until last year and now this year I see it EVERYWHERE) and Monday night for ToT-ing in the neighborhood.
What is it? At first I thought you all had typos in your posts, but I guess it's a thing?

Well she was going to be Squirt from last yr because the costume was too big last yr and should fit perfectly.
However, a kind dear awesome friend found a peacock costume in her attic when she moved in and we put it on DD this weekend. O.M.G. it's freaking adorable.
DD is going to be a Butterfly. I bought the costume from Greenberries on consignment, it was from Old Navy. Kathryn, I wonder if it's the same costume as yours?
DS is going to be "Carlos" from The Hangover. DH is going to be Allan. We have two costume parties to go to this weekend. For Halloween Day, I have a duck costume for DH.
DH wasn't sold on the idea of Elmo, but DS is obsessed with Elmo and when we found this costume, he was head over heels and just SO proud... We couldn't say no when we saw his little face light up over this thing. I even managed to find him a kids sized reuseable shopping bag that has Elmo's face on it, so that's what he carried/is carrying with him.

Re: Poll: What is your LO being for Halloween?
Ava is going to be Barney. I'm mad that the head (it's like a hood) doesn't stay up though.
Faith is going to be a lion--I need to go up in the attic this weekend to find it. Ava and DS also wore that same costume.

Sydney is a garden gnome, but I dont' have any pics yet.
Shanda - the pics are blocked at work! I will see when I get home - can't wait.
J is a little black cat.
Today at daycare she wore her ladybug outfit, which is just a glorified onesie with a hat, ruffles and tights.
Francesca Pearl is here! Josephine Hope is almost 3!
