No Cancer!!!!

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone for all of your T&P's. Went to the surgeon today to get the results of my biopsy and the lump in my breast is NOT CANCER!!! It's such a relief. Instead, it's a fibroadenoma, it is continuing to grow, so we will have to have it removed, but Dr is completely OK with waiting until LO gets here to do surgery. We set up an appointment to discuss the surgery for a couple of weeks after LO's EDD.

I am sooo relieved! Thanks again everyone for your support!

Yay! So happy for you! Now you can focus on your pregnancy and enjoy LO! My aunt actually had to have some tissue removed from her breast and she was up and about the next day so it might be something you could do during maternity leave without it interfering with bonding with LO.

That's what I am hoping for. After my maternity leave I won't have any additional time to take off for surgery, so I am going to try and schedule it for my last few weeks of maternity leave so that I have time to heal before going back to work, but not take away from those precious first few weeks.
