Paige is freaking out...

and I can't do anything about it.  My husband has her (I have Virginia) and every time I say anything to him I get snapped at.  I offered to trade him babies and he said no.  He gets really worked up when she gets worked up like this and that just makes her worse.  I don't know what to do.

I'm hoping that when I put Virginia down he'll let me take Paige and see if I can calm her down.  But I still need to pump, so who knows if he'll let me take her to if he'll tell me to pump...

  • :( Sorry. I hope they both calm down.

  • I finally got her calmed down.  She screamed and cried for 45 minutes with my husband within 5 minutes of me taking her she was asleep.  I think him being so tense made her more tense, so when I was calm and took her she finally calmed down.  She's now sound asleep in her crib.  Hopefully she'll sleep for a good, long time.
  • We would go through this sometimes too.  My husband is naturally a high stress person and it would make the babies nervous or upset sometimes.  I'd just want to take the baby to calm her down, but he'd insist on holding her because he had to learn how to do it.  Somehow, this has gone away....not sure if he's just gotten better with them, we're less stressed in general or what.

    Good Luck!
