Hi,
I had my first bfp three years ago, July of 2008 and I m/c at 5 wks. We weren't trying at the time and didn't start trying until August 2011. On October 20th, I had a BFP. On Monday, October 24th, I got into a car accident. I was hit on the driver's side by someone who ran their red light. I didn't get too hurt- just sprained my shoulder. On Tuesday, I started spotting and cramping. Wednesday morning I woke up to terrible cramps and heavy bleeding. I had a doctor's appointment on Wednesday at 3:30 and they confirmed the m/c. She said there's no way of knowing why but I can't help but think it was the car accident. I'm trying to be thankful that it was an early loss and that I can try again soon. It's hard not to think about how badly I wanted THAT baby. I was really looking forward to my little summer baby. A friend of mine was about two weeks ahead of me so we would have gone through our pregnancies together. At least it didn't take long to conceive after we started trying. Hopefully, it'll go just as fast this time and we get a sticky baby...

I think all of us have those what-ifs that we deep down know probably didn't cause the m/c, but we just cannot keep from wondering. Mine is biking to work.... I kept biking to work even though I was spotting. Next time I get KU, I'm going to just take it easy until I'm through the first tri.
