Great story! Moherly instincts are always right- great job following your instincts to bring your healthy baby boy into the world. Your children are so adorable- I love how proud big sis looks!
You have many reasons to be proud. You gave your lil man all of the wonderful sensations and benefits that come with uterine contractions and your body the chance it needed to try to push your baby down. It sounds like you were very in-tune with your body and listened to your instincts when you felt like it wasn't going to happen vaginally. It is unfortunate that our system isn't set up for easy transitions from home birth to hospital transfer or else you could have bypassed all of that triage. But I am happy that your family is healthy, congratulations!
I have been wondering about you so I'm glad to see your story. I am so impressed/inspired/in awe of your strength. What an incredible journey. You gave it all and surely discovered a lot in the process. I hope your recovery continues to go well and you enjoy your LO. You are strong, momma.
Hey, I've been wondering about you! I'm sorry it ended in a c-section, but it sounds like it was necessary, no question. Congrats on the new little guy!!
Re: birth story - failed hbac
Congratulations!! He is adorable!
I'm sorry the HBAC didn't work out but I'm glad you were able to make the decision that was best for you. Good job listening to your instincts!
