Have you gotten your periods yet since the birth of you LO? I started mine today for the first time

...I was really hoping it would stay away as long as I was nursing I hopefully this doesn't mean my endometriosis will start to act up again

Re: EBF mommas...sorry if this has already been asked...
Not yet only a bit of spotting around the time I am guessing my period would be.
good question...I was wondering the same thing. I'm not using any of those...
As of 2 weeks ago I'm no longer ebf due to having to supplement but want to share that when I did, my period came for the first time and I think that might have something to do with my less pumping at work and my dipping milk supply.
I also used to have very painful/debilitating periods and this one was just a little uncomfortable but not as bad. Hopefully yours won't be either.
thanks I hope not...I'm terrified of the pain coming back
pregnancy and breastfeeding have allowed me to be pain free for so long now that I'm not ready to hurt again...
Also I'm so jealous that so many of you still haven't had it. I feed on demand and am still on mat leave so I'm home all day with LO...I thought that would keep evil AF away...hopefully it won't come back too regularly at least.

I am. I actually got some bleeding that I thought was AF at 6 weeks pp...a few days in to the mini pill.
Either I started and the pill got rid of it or that was just breakthrough bleeding.
I am going with the later because I always got AF the 9 years I was on the pill prior.

wow! Congrats...your babies will be super close in age! Are you still BF?
I got mine at the beginning of October, which was right around the time I had to go back to work after my maternity leave was up. DD was just about 4 months old. I was wondering if it was because I was away from DD for so many hours a day and was only able to pump and not breastfeed while we were apart. I am not on any form of birth control.
ETA: The return of my period didn't have any affect on my supply, but I do still breastfeed on demand whenever I'm with DD and she usually still wakes up at least once during the night to eat.

BFP!! 8/29/16 --> EDD: 5/11/17....it's a GIRL!!!
I got one around 2 1/2 months pp (after starting the mini pill). I wasn't sure at first if it was breakthrough bleeding or the real thing, but then all my usual symptoms started kicking in (cramps, bloating, headache, etc).
I haven't had one since, but I read that it can take awhile for your cycle to get regular again.
Thanks! They will be exactly 12 months apart. This baby is due on my daughter's first birthday. I am still EBFing and I hope to throughout this pregnancy and maybe beyond. I'm just taking it one day at a time though. I hear pregnancy can cause a major dip in milk supply. I really hope not though. We shall see!

not yet, and i'm not on any form of hormonal birth control either.
it took 18 months after dd1 was born before i got a period, so i'm not counting on it showing up any time soon (knock on wood).
I got my first PP this first week of October. It seemed exactly the same as it had before before. I did have my IUD placed a couple of weeks ago. It's the one without hormones, so my MF said it wouldn't affect my periods. So I guess I'll soon see if my periods are regular and here to stay.
I was really disappointed when it came back, I was hoping it'd stay away as long as I was BFing.

Same here! I was wondering/thinking I was the only one! And I am also NOT on any birth control.
