Dull pain

Hi Ladies... This is my first post but I have been lurking for weeks.  I just didn't want to post and jinx myself (previous chem. preg. and a m/c when I was 18).  But now I have a question...

I know that cramping is normal as long as there is no spotting but this morning I woke up with a dull ache.  It's very low and in a small area.  It feels almost like a light burning / really dull ache.  It's on my left side.   Has anyone had this?  I'm just a bit nervous...  I am about 6 weeks and 5 days.

 Thanks!

Re: Dull pain

  • I've been experience a similar type of pain although, more intense than what you were describing.  My doctor told me that the ovary from which you ovulated can be very sore in the first few weeks of pregnancy.  That was a new one.  I also had a miscarriage, and have been overanalyzing every little thing.  I never read about the whole ovary pain on any of my websites.

    Good luck!

  • I've been having the same thing all day and have been a little freaked out.  Thanks Brenda for that information!
  • Brenda... Thanks so much!  I looked everywhere and couldn't find anyting explaining what I was feeling.  It is now the following day and the ache is gone... Thanks again and good luck to all!!  Smile
  • i had similar pain and was really worried about it.  my doc said that it is common to have a cyst develop on the ovary you ovulated from and that it can cause pain and sure enough when i had an ultrasound there it was.
