UPDATE: Can a contraction feel like ---> Baby Paige!

I posted Sunday afternoon since I was having lower abdominal crampiness and rectal pain.  It continued and became progressively worse and coming every 5 minutes.  On-call doctor said to go to hospital and definitely sounded like I was in labor.  The hospital is less than 10 minutes away, and by the time I got there was 7cm, fully effaced (was 3cm just 2 days earlier at dr appt).  I had group B strep and was supposed to have the 4 hours of antibiotics, but ended up getting less than an hour before the baby came.  I pushed less than 10 times, and even though I got Stadol injection we don't believe it ever took effect, since in < 1/2 hour I went from 7cm to 9cm and was pushing. 

Baby Paige Marie is doing excellent and she only came 9 days early (was due Nov 2nd).  We were required to stay 48 hours since I did not get the full antibiotics.  It's so nice to be home and be back in our own environment.  It was all such a whirlwind but would do it all over again!
