Bought the crib too...

Ok, well I really dislike walmart and could swear I would never buy any major baby furniture from there.  But...after researching cribs for a month, I couldn't find any I was in love with that was within the price range I was looking for.  With that said I found (and ordered) a Graco stanton 4 in 1 convertible crib in black (all my furniture will be black) for $139!!!!  I read reviews and all 59 reviews were 4-5 stars.  That's good enough for me.  If it ends up being crazy trashy I will return it, but I can't believe it was that cheap!  Not to mention my hubby is proud of my bargain deals.  Here's what it looks like:

    I think it's great. I don't understand the point of spending a lot of money on a crib. I got a Graco Lauren 4 in 1 for like $150. I'm happy with the quality so far.

    Looks good! I hate Wal-Mart too but haven't read bad things about Graco cribs, so I don't think you can go wrong.

    Thanks everyone!  I was skeptical getting a "cheap?" crib, but reviews and the picture changed my mind.   I got it online through walmart.com in case anyone wanted to know.  Its on a roll back price from $169.99!  I love saving money!

     

    Graco Alano Travel System - Meadow Menagerie

    This is the travelsystem we got at Target yesterday for $169.99!  Its the Graco Alano travelsystem in the Meadow Menagerie Super cute it has elephants and owls on it!

    Plus we also got the PacknPlay that matches for $139.99! 

    So...so far we have spent $450 on a travelsystem, packnplay (used as a bassinet) and a crib!  My goal is $1000 or less on great deals to finish up the nursery.  I got a dresser for free and my husband is painting it black (Disney Mickey ears color paint from Home depot), and we are antiquing some furniture to make a shabby chic look.  Feels so good to get some of the big stuff out of the way!

    lol, the one we want is carried at Walmart, so I have just come to terms with the fact that we'll probably be buying it there.
