*sigh* I love J&J. Be careful with buying off of zulily. I've heard that sometimes it takes a while to ship because they wait until the sale ends before shipping out all the orders. I've heard of folks waiting as long as a month to get their orders.

I got a cute red/white/black plaid dress with matching red cardigan for DD for Christmas from The Children's Place. Including white tights and shipping, the whole outfit cost less than $30. I think they have a lot of cute dresses that would work for occasions other than Christmas and they're having a sale right now.

I'd check out Zulily.com I got a really cute dress there for a pretty good price. Also, if you have a tj maxx or a marshalls you might find some cute dresses there too!

don't take it the wrong way- but with the pace babies grow, they don't fit in things long enough to wear them to multiple occasions. A couple months, max. So don't worry too much about it being versatile. That said, I've seen some cute dresses at Macy's- and it you were to get something in a solid color, like red or green, it can be more versatile. I also saw an adorable red plaid dress at JC Penney with a little Scottish Terrier emblem on it- it was adorable!

Agreed! At this age you're not going to get a lot of mileage out of it either way.

Also, if there's one near you, check out the Burlington Coat Factory. I've gotten a few of DD's holiday outfits there and they're usually way less than the tag price.
