Oh... don't even get me started on that law! It's ridiculous. My neighborhood is still rebuilding after the April 27 tornadoes.
Now that that law has been passed, construction work in the neighborhood, which was going really fast before, has definitely slowed. Our yard sits half done with grass but no trees or bushes yet because our landscaper can't find any workers, since they've left the state.
My brother in law owns a roofing company in Huntsville and even though his crew was 100% legal, they've left the state for fear of discrimination.
Honestly, the whole things makes me embarrassed for Alabama. I feel like it's the 1960s again.
