BF - how often is lo eating?

So I don't know if I'm finally just learning to feed on cue or if lo is going through a growth spurt. For the last week or so she's been eating every 1.5-2 hrs. At night she gives me a long stretch (won't eat after 8pm and then wakes around 3. She's a quick, aggressive eater (10 mins, 1 side) so I don't think she's comfort nursing. Is it normal to be feeding so frequently? How often does you lo eat?

I could have written your post. We have the same night routine except Isaac wakes any time between 1 and 3 and then again around 530a and then 730a. He gets hungry after about an hour and a half during the day and I try to make him wait until the 2 hour mark to eat again. I usually give in at about an hour and 50 min. I'm jealous because my sister's brand new baby will go 4 hours even during the day!! Isaac also finished eating between 10 and 15 minutes.

Is it normal? Who knows...but I am going through what you are, so that must make it a little bit normal!

Same here. God bless LO he has been STTN here and there the last two weeks (8ish at night to 7ish in the morning), and when he doesn't, he wakes up once around 3am to eat. But during the day he gives hunger cues and eats enthusiastically about every 2 hours....but like your LO, often a little sooner. So like PP said, if it's not normal, at least you aren't alone!

Greta always nurses at 8pm, and falls asleep between 9 and 10. She then gets up around 3, and again around 7. After that 7am feeding, she is every two hours on the dot. At 1pm, she naps (her only one). She wakes around 4, and wants to cluster feed until bedtime.

George STTN for approximately 10 hours but all day long this week he eats and eats and eats like every 1.5 - 2 hrs. I feel like a COW! Lol

She eats on average every 2.5 hours during the day. However-- from 6pm-8pm she eats like crazy (cluster feeds) in preparation for her long sleep. She usually sleeps from 8:30pm-6:00am.

Well glad I'm not alone!! I've gotten good at feeding in the car between errands. Today lo was determined to latch through my shirt in the Ergo on our walk. lol. Being a cow continues...

I feel like ive started to notice how long DD goes between feedings as well. It seems like its every hour but I think its about 1.5 hours

Dd eats 5 to 7 times a day between 6 am and 8 pm. She can go anywhere from 1.5 to 4 hrs between feedings.

DD eats 7-8 times a day. She sleeps from around 8:30/9-4/5 and then goes mostly 2.5-3 hours during the day, with a bit of cluster feeding at night.

This! I talked with my doctor and it is normal to be about 1.5-3 hours in the day, especially if they are sleeping really well at night.
