When were you able to pick them up(i.e. lift them in and out of the car, into highchairs, into cribs/beds, etc)??
My DDs are each roughly 24 lbs. I wince at 2 wks pp thinking of having to lift them in and out of their low cribs!! I don't want to overdue it and my dr. hasn't called me back yet with my questions...
TIA

This!
I'm dreading this. I almost switched my son into a toddler bed for this very reason, but he does so well in his crib I don't want to mess with a good thing.
Luckily my mom lives close by and can come over a lot to help me the first couple of weeks after DH goes back to work!

Our family is complete!
Once I found out I was pregnant, I started working with DD to do things more independently (like she can climb into her car seat, I just hold her hands for support) so I wouldn't have to lift.
Now we've been talking to her that after the baby comes, I am going to have a big boo-boo on my tummy and may not be able to do certain things but I still love her but may need to play with her from the couch instead of the floor, etc.
