For those who remember me

It's been a couple months since I've been an active poster, and I've missed being around here, but wow have we been busy! From teaching to a 5 month old puppy in the house to camping to a new niece...we've had a lot going on.

Three weeks ago, we had our second Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI cycle. I had 3 follicles and DH's sperm looked better than IUI #1. We left hopeful, but still not getting our hopes up as it just seemed unreal that a BFP would ever happen. The Sunday before my beta I started spotting, but it was different than my normal brown spotting, but I counted myself out because spotting was spotting to me. Well the spotting lasted about 2-3 days and then it just stopped. Fast forward to beta day, still no AF and no spotting. So DH had me test, and within minutes a second line popped up. I took 2 other tests and went in for my beta. I got my beta back and got the phone call that I was indeed pregnant. I went in for my second beta two days later and it had more than doubled! We go in for our first ultrasound with the RE next week, where I'll be 6 weeks and 2 days.

We're so excited and cautious at the same time just because it all seems so unreal and I can't imagine losing what we've been longing for this whole time. But I told myself that all my trust and faith is in God because this whole journey and now pregnancy is in His hands.
