I take sips here and there off DH's, but I have also had on two occasions had about 1/2-1/3 of a beer.

I've had sips here and there. For some reason it has been a huge craving and we don't drink or really keep alcohol in the house normally. But man.....I can't wait to have a glass (or 2 or 3----one for each kid) of wine!

Confession is a wonderful thing But honestly, I was never really a big drinker before the pregnancy. I had stopped drinking a few months before we TTC and I never really missed it. Still don't, amazingly.

Ha Catholic guilt great! I honestly think you hit the nail on the head...my friends in other religions think I am nuts when I say I would be guilt ridden after a half of glass of wine!...HOnestly you will get this too if you decide to breastfeed..I can't tell you how many times I felt bad b/c I had to give my dd a bottle of bm rather than straight from the boob because I chose to have a glass of wine or two..so it doesn't stop once you give birth!

I've never been a big drinker anyway, so I don't particularly miss it too badly. I did have a beer at the beginning because I was celebrating graduating community college and didn't know I was pregnant. Then a month later I ordered a desert that had Kalua in it, but it wasn't enough to even get me slightly buzzed. I'm looking forward to a fun night of mixing drinks with friends after the baby is born (baby will get prepumped BM that night), but otherwise I'm not hurting for alcohol.

SS for me.

I only had one sip of a Pumpkin Spice Martini that MH made for my babyshower. OMG it was SOOOOOOOO yummy! but I only had a tiny taste that one time.

I chose a sip here and there because I have tried my husband's beers on occassion (especially when we were in Germany) but I hardly ever drank before I was pregnant so I don't miss it in any way.

I had intended on having a half a glass of wine on vacation but no one actually had wine. I've had a teeny sip of Pumpkin Ale and a teeny sip of Pina Colada. I do miss my beverages...beer and football season always go hand in hand for me!!
