I looked at the website and the picture of having the baby face out shows the front of the carrier too high. About 1/4 of the baby's face is covered by the carrier. Is this how it is when you carry your LO face out?
timely posting - I just carried my DD yesterday for the first time face out and yes, her chin was pretty much behind the carrier. She seemed happy though and didn't really seem to want to face in. I would imagine as she gets bigger, she'll be above it? She's tiny, only about 13.5-14lbs now? (been a few weeks since her 4mo weight). I think they might tell you to wait til 15lbs to front carry if you look at the instructions, but I thought she was fine.

Her face is partly covered right now, but it won't be as she gets taller. She doesn't care, she likes to drool on it and it is the perfect height for that!
lol I started facing my LO out as soon as he had good head control. He chews on the top of the carrier and loves it so I didn't mind it too much. He's long (26in) and 15lbs now so I think when I started he was probably under 14lbs but still on the long side. As long as he is comfy I let it ride...he LOVES facing out and can't stand to face me anymore... )
I face my daughter out alot and her chin is at the same level as the top of the carrier. I try to sit her in it a little higher and I have her hands out on the top instead of on the side and I think that helps her sit up a little bit more.
Oh and I like the Beco Gemini. It was the best recommendation someone gave me.

Ditto the other responses.... His mouth is a little covered, but he loves to gnaw on it and keeps the drool from going on him!
I tried other carriers, and I LOVE this one... so comfortable for me and he's actually happy in it. He hated the other ones.
