The whole "kid person" thing...

I completely understand not being a "kid person", I didn't use to classify myself as one at all.  But it still gets a little bug up my a$$ to think that so many moms could meet my "angel" and not like him...ha!  I think I've been living in my fantasy land of people that adore my child for too long, I forget sometimes that kids can totally be annoying Stick out tongue

    I am not a kid person, yet I am certain that no one could meet my sweet Paige and not fall over themselves trying to play with her and want her around all the time.  Can we say, delusional?

    I'm with you on this... I also think I'm probably the worst Aunt ever. I love them but I'm not one to get down on the floor and play for hours with kids.

    As Dillon is screeching at the top of his lungs across the crowded room, I know those looks oh "oh jeez" are really looks of "look at how adorable"
    A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
    After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
    My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

    I am a kid person and always have been, but I feel like I'm pretty respectful and understanding that others are not kid people. My mother on the other hand has no concept that other people might not think that mark is quite as adorable and charming as we do.

    I hear ya on that.  I think delusion in this case is good. It is what keeps us from killing our kids when they do something so awful you can't take it one more minute.
