I have been uncomfortable for a week now....back pain, leg pain, cramping, pressure. I'm forced to keep coming in everyday because I work for the federal government and we get ZERO state benefits. All the time I take off from work has to come out of my accumulated leave. Anything over that results in ZERO pay. I'm trying really hard not to bite people's heads off when they come to me whining about stupid things or demand that I fix problems they created. And how many times can my co-workers ask me, "You haven't had that baby yet?!!" I think my tongue is bleeding from all of the biting on it I've had to do. And the thing that really sucks a$$....it's only 8:30 am.
Re: Trying really hard not to be a *&^%# at work today.
I'm wishing you the best vibes I can to help you get through your day (and last several days before your LO arrives!)
Good luck!
It's awful! We have a girl here who had a baby a year ago and is due again in February. She had only started a few months before she gave birth to the first baby. I can only imagine the state of her leave. We have quite a few people who were diagnosed with cancer and were up the creek without a paddle. They ask for leave donations, but there is only so much you can do for a person that has to be out of work for months on end. It leaves many people and their families in a precarious position. And when you're well and you go in to ask the boss for time off, they act like you are holding them up with a gun. "What if something happens?! You need to build up your leave!" People can't live their lives like cancer or some tragic accident is waiting around the corner for you with a knife. Geez!
We're both in the home stretch! Only to rush back to work, lol!
Im so sorry you girls are going through this. Hopefully you start to feel better.
I have that problem even when im not pregnant soo...
