Legs hurt... SO BAD.

Is anyone else dealing with terrible terrible leg cramps? Like major charlie horse and muscle cramping for every little movement or bump on the calve? I'm dying here! Right now I can't even walk without them almost cramping to unbearable pain! The other morning I was waking up and was half asleep, I tried to stretch my legs and I wanted to cry from the cramp that ensued... woke me up pretty quickly though.

  • Increase your calcium and potassium!  That should help.

  • sounds awful. :( did you talk to your doctor? i think drinking lots of water can help, as well as stretching as much as possible during the day.

    i get bad leg pain but not in form of cramping. it reminds me of how i felt after double sessions back when i played soccer, and i just want to sit and elevate my legs.

  • I woke up on Friday night to a leg cramp so painful and intense! It took me and my husband several minutes to rub it out... and my calf was sore from it until yesterday - crazy!

  • I've had leg cramps a couple of times so far this pregnancy. I used to also get them really bad a few years ago after I moved to a warmer climate when I wasn't pregnant.  I've found that I can avoid them if I stay hydrated, so drink plenty of water!

  • I've also had leg cramps on and off for the last couple weeks.  More potassium and calcium would help.

  • Thanks guys, yeah i think it also might come from my RLS at night? Not sure, i woke up with this problem and i figure maybe i strained my muscles in my sleep. Will def up the potassium though, not much room for more calcium in my diet :P
