Harford County Pediatricians

Hi,

I am looking for reccomendations on pediatricians in the Harford County area. Due to an insurance change, we have to leave our pediatrician and find someone new.

Thanks so much!

  • Pediatric Partners!

We see Lomonico but also highly recommend Dr. Seymour.

  • Ditto LWilli. We just met with Lauren Henning at Pediatric Partners (the Hickory location) a few weeks ago and she seems really nice. I have heard good things about the other 3 doctors there as well.

We love PP too! We see Dr Henning and love her. We have also had great experiences with Drs Lomonico and Seymour.
  • We see dr chasnow at box hill pediatrics and have been pleased with her, and the practice in general. We've seen all the docs at some point and like them all.

  • I use box Hill Pediatrics and I love them. My kids see Dr Litwak and Dr Hopkins. They are both super nice. If you want a family practice and not just pediatrics, I also rec Dr gerry at Smalldore Family Practice. I just love her.
  • Thank you for all of the reccomendations. I am going to look into Pediatric Partners. My brother takes his children there as well.

Ironically, Dr. Gerry is my primary care physician. I love her too!

  • FIA...did you go to the North Park office or the S. Main Street (now Hoagie Drive) office of Pedi Partners?

I go to Hoagie Drive Pedi Partners.  No complaints thus far.

That may be the big crux of why everyone else raves aside from me! I went to the North Park office and we saw Dr. Cox.

We went there when DD was little, so I regularly had to ask for her immunization records to be updated (both the booklet that the hospitals give you when the child is born and the paperwork required by her daycare), and there was always some stupid power struggle over it. The doctor told me to have the girl at the front desk do it, the girl at the front desk told me the doctor was supposed to do it. Then she'd have a hissy fit with sighing, rolling her eyes, and making nasty comments to other nurses about how much of a pain the doctors were.

I've heard a TON of negative reviews about the north park office and the staff.  Many left after one particular nurse/dr/staff person left...i don't remember the exact person.  However, many would continously say how rude all they were in that office.

We see Dr. V at Boxhill Pediatrics and have been extremely pleased with the care we have received. I can usually call that day and get an appointment, no problems what so ever.

  • I go to Pediatric Partners in North Park. I love  Dr Cox and  Dr Paxson. I can always get in to see them, she always calls me back, Dr Paxson is our primary but Dr Cox visited us in the hospital. When LO stopped breathing in the hospital with Dr Cox right there she was just great!!! No problems with updating immunization records. I do agree that just recently i have found there front office staff to be a little off. Not rude but not friendly either.

I know several of my friends and my MIL knows Lomonico. There office has excellent reviews. thats the Hoagie drive. I know just recently Lomonico was accepting new patients. I liked how the north park office was linked to the towson office with saturday hours.

I was looking for a new primary care physician now I know where to look though!
