I think it's just one of those things that you can't have too much of at once, it's better in doses...
We have our milk/eggs/meat delivered by a local farm and they sent me an email today announcing egg nogg ice cream. Part of me wants to order it and eat a whole gallon and part of me think it sounds nasty.
