It was ok. Nothing spectacular. The kids were well behaved (other than Sophie's dinner time screaming). The weather sucked in Nassau which was pretty much our only beach day. I was dissappointed with Carnival's service this time. Last time when we went, I remembered them going above and beyond and had heard that they were great with kids. That was not our experience at all. I'll post a full review later but basically, we'll probably stick to Disney cruises w/ the kids from now on.
If I can help it I will never go on a Carnival cruise again. I liked Royal Caribbean so much better. I would give Carnival like 2 stars for service vs 4 stars for RC. RC is more expensive, yes, but you get better food, service, and the clientele is generally better too. I was 22 weeks preggo with P on my last Carnival cruise and it was Spring Break and all the rednecks on the ship were drunk and obnoxious all the time and it was crowded and I had a severe allergic reaction (rash) to something and they told me if I sought treatment they would probably send me home bc of my pregnancy. RC was amazing on my Honeymoon, it was a 2 week cruise, mostly seniors, I always got a prime chair next to the pool and we were treated like celebrities bc we were the only honeymooners.
