Cable and internet providers? (North Potomac area)

I'm trying to research good places to get cable and internet for when we move next week.

Any suggestions (or advice of who to avoid)?

Re: Cable and internet providers? (North Potomac area)

  • I don't live in that exact area, but I do live in Montgomery County, so most of the providers should be the same.

I have Verizon Fios for cable and internet, and I'm happy with them. They often have deals for $99/month for phone, cable, and internet bundled.

I used to have Comcast, and I wasn't as happy with their service.

Other providers in our area include RCN and the satellite companies (Dish and DirectTV). I don't know much about them.

I have Fios too and we love it. Their deal right now is actually $89/mo bundled with a 2 yr price guarantee and no contract, which is super.

  • I live in NP - we moved in July and for our new service got a bundle with Verizon for phone/internet and  Direct TV. I had D-TV previously and really liked it.  Unfortunately Fios is not here yet but should be soon.  I didn't want to do comcast again! PM me if you have any questions about the area.
